Shri Mallinath Bhagwan in white color, seated in a lotus posture, of height 104 Cms in a shrine near Bhoyni village. (Shve).

It is stated that this place at one time was famous as Padmavati city. From plenty of broken art creations and ancient idols recovered from fields and ponds in this area, it is clearly evident that this place is very ancient and at one time it may be having many Jain temples. The present beautiful and celestial idol was discovered in the field here while digging a well in Vikram year 1930, which on Magh Sukla 10 in Vikram year 1943 was ceremonially installed among scenes of great festivity in this newly constructed beautiful and magnificent temple. It is stated that when the well was being dug in the filed, farmers used to hear sounds from somewhere, the exact location of which could not be guessed. As soon as, on digging, the idol appeared, the sounds stopped suddenly. The idol is like female both pretty and attractive. Such an ancient idol of Sri Mallinath Bhagwan in female like face is nowhere to be seen.
