There are many beliefs associated with the history of the miraculous Ranjit Hanuman Temple of Indore. It is said that in 1907, Alhad Singh Bhardwaj from Indore, who was fond of wrestling, was a great devotee and worshiper of Hanuman. Alhad Singh had built a small arena by installing the statue of Lord Hanuman in the deserted forests of Gumashta Nagar area. As time passed, many miracles happened here.After which this temple started being known in the entire Indore city by the name of Ranjit Hanuman Temple. Even today many miracles happen at the temple here. An invisible power resides here in the form of Hanuman. Today is the birth anniversary of Shri Hanuman, an ardent devotee of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram. As told in the Vedas and Puranas, the birth of Hanuman, son of Pawan, is not ordinary.
