Kharsia:- The residents of Bargarh Khola and surrounding areas wait for the Mahashivratri fair because this is the only fair held in this area. In which everyone, along with having darshan of God, also comes to roam around and enjoy the fair. People come from far and wide to visit Siddheshwar Nath and pray to Lord Bholenath to remove their sorrows. Siddheshwarnath temple of Bargarh resonates in the entire district. , It becomes difficult for people to step into the temple for three days of Mahashivratri. A fair is held here for three days and closes at night, but along with enjoyment, people also have the darshan of Lord Shiva in the fair.

Who does not know the Siddheshwar Nath Dham temple located in Bargarh village on Kharsia-Sakti road under Kharsia assembly. Bargarh is situated just 45 kilometers away from Raigarh on the National Highway. There is a famous Shiv temple here which is from very ancient times. This temple, which gives immense peace to the mind due to the natural view, has the story of the truth of Bholenath present in it. The courtyard and natural environment of the temple situated in Bargarh is very picturesque and peaceful. The beauty of the mountains on three sides and the gurgling Borai drain on the banks of the temple make the view here panoramic and beautiful. In the temple premises, along with Lord Shiva, there is also a temple of Lord Sai Nath Maharaj along with Maa Adishakti Devi Durga, Lord Shri Ram, Bhaiya Lakshman, Sita Maiya. Siddheshwar Nath temple of Bargarh Dham is very famous and full of beliefs. A three-day fair is held in this temple every year in the month of February-March on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri. The fair here is very famous in its area.

Baba Siddheshwar Nath is believed here and people also say that when people offer water to Lord Bholenath, then Lord Shiva gets immersed in water and starts drowning and gets up from the temple premises and sits on the top of the mountain near the temple. Then people come to the temple for darshan. Go to the top of the mountain. It is believed here and people also climb the mountain. This atmosphere does not end after the fair of Mahashivratri. As soon as the month of Sawan arrives, half of the shops of Maha Shivratri fair start setting up in this month of Sawan and one hears the bells of Mahadev for the entire month of Sawan. Even in Sawan, like a fair, people come every Monday and worship Lord Siddheshwar Nath and celebrate by shopping from shops.
