The temple is located at a distance of 8 km from Nashik Central Bus Station on Gangapur Road. This temple on Godavari Tiri has idols of Lord Shiva and Hanuman and the area is surrounded by trees. After darshan you can enjoy boating and swimming in the river. Someshwar is also famous for shooting films. On the way to Someshwar there is an area named ‘Anandavalli’. The area is named after Anandibai, wife of Peshwa Raghobdada. He stayed there for some time. He has built an attractive temple of Navashyaganapati on the Godavari Tira at Anandavalli.
