Talaja ShwetambarJain temple is an ancient jain tirth and once considered a part of Shetrunjay tirth. It is believed to be built by king Kumarpal. Sacha Sumtinath is Mulnayak(main idol) here. It is located on a hill near confluence of Shetrunji and Sarita rivers. Residential accommodation is available at the hill base.
Taldhwaj hill include jaun temple, hinu khodiyar mata temple and deri too..small tract with many beautiful caves.
Taldhvajgiri Tirtha is one of the sacred five tirthas of the Shatrunjaya tirtha, the Talaja village is situated on the confluence of the rivers of shatrunji and talaji. It is an hour’s drive from palitana taleti and the distance is 37 km from palitana taleti.
The idol of Shri Sumathinath Bhagwan at this tirtha is considered to be full of miracles.. the idol is black in complexion and is 79cms in size in padmasana posture. It was unearthed in the village and after that immediately epidemic disappeared and all evil was quelled and people began to know this idol as sacha Sumathinath.
