The consecration of the idols was organized at Shri Varshneya Temple, the highest peaked temple of Aligarh, Sanskrit College as per the instructions of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Pujyapada Shri Madhavashram Ji Maharaj of Badrikashram Peeth, the auspicious date Chaitra Shukla Shri Ram Navami started in the morning on 12th April 2000 with the morning worship of Vidyavinayak Shri Ganesh ji and Kalash puja by the prominent Acharyas of Narwar. To complete the consecration ceremony, on April 15, 2000, all the decorated idols of Gods and Goddesses were taken on a city tour.
The grand and supernatural statues of Yogiraj Shri Krishna, Shri Lakshmi Narayan, Shri Sitaram-Lakshman-Hanuman and other Gods and Goddesses have been carved from white marble by internationally renowned artisans of Jaipur. The statue of Shri Akrur Ji Maharaj sitting at the top of the huge and grand entrance of the temple has been made to give a feeling of supernatural joy.

Major festivals like Temple Foundation Day (Patotsav), Shri Krishna Janmashtami, Nandotsav, Diwali, Annakoot, Basant Panchami and Holi are especially celebrated with great enthusiasm and grandeur. Traditional Diwali Mahaparva is a special festival celebrated in the temple on the new moon day of Kartik month. This holy temple of Aligarh has been included in the 100 famous tourist centers declared by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

In the temple, Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival is celebrated with religious faith, joy and tremendous preparations with programs like Dudhbhishek in the morning, Phool Bangla in the evening and incarnation of Kanhaiya ji at 12 midnight. On the third day of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, all the city residents gather in the temple to greet Nandababa. This day is celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm in the temple as Nandotsav. Nandbaba and Yashodharani along with Upananda come to the temple with Nandlala in traditional clothes.

The famous Lathmar Holi of Vrindavan is organized in the temple with pomp and colorful programs. On the auspicious occasion of Holi Milan, with an unprecedented increase of harmony and harmony in the society, all the gentlemen coming are welcomed by applying perfume and serving Thandai. After Holi Milan, everyone returns to their homes only after receiving the elegant Bhog Prasad of pulses and roti.

The temple celebrates Shri Ganesh Puja Mahotsav with great pomp. This program is inaugurated colorfully with the installation of Shri Ganesh idol. And Shri Ganesh Visarjan starts with worship at Varshneya Temple, then turns into a procession at Ramlila Ground of the city, after going to Rajghat via Dubey stop and over bridge, the process of immersion is completed as per Vedic rituals. Every year, Shree Varshneya Temple celebrates the month of Shravan with great preparation. Where on the first Monday of Sawan, special arrangements are made for Jalabhishek in the Shivalaya located in the temple premises and a program of Sawmani Prasad is organized every day.
