Legend has it that the Pandavas came here during their exile and worshiped Lord Shiva. Siddhanath Mahadev Temple is located 1 km away from Somnath. To have darshan of Shivalinga one has to enter a small cave. Natural Shivalinga and an ancient statue of Lord Shiva are installed inside the cave. Along with the temple, there is also a temple of Hinglaj Mata. To have darshan of the Mother Goddess one has to go sitting on one’s feet.
