The 150 years old Ramlila of Dussehra Bagh in Barabanki has a different style. Evidence of the year 1897 has also been found in the Dussehra temple situated here on the lines of Kanak Bhawan. This time too, more than 250 artists from Barabanki district, apart from Bahraich and Ayodhya, are performing in Ramlila here. Shri Ramlila Seva Samiti Dussehra Bagh has given a grand form to the ancient Ramlila in a radius of one and a half kilometres. This time in the ancient Ramlila, the fight between Lord Ram and Ravana will be fought with the hydraulic platform and Naimish’s arrows. After which the 40 feet high effigy of Ravana will be burnt. The special thing is that the effigy of Ravana and Meghnad of Ramlila is prepared on a wheel. Which runs during times of war and remains a center of attraction for the visitors. Along with this, elephant, horse and camel are also used in war.
