UMA MAHESHWARI TEMPLE OF GODDESS PARVATI

Uma Maheshwari Temple is another temple located within the Ujjayanta Palace grounds in Agartala, India. This temple is dedicated to the Hindu Goddess Uma or Parvati and was built by Maharaja Radha Kishore Manikya.

A red colored Shikhar adorns the sanctum sanctorum of the temple which was built on design of Jagannath temple at Puri. Earlier this was in white color which was painted red in 2018. There is no entry fee to this temple and the best to visit here is during evening.

It remains crowded in special puja days. People coming Ujjayanta Palace, visit Uma Maheshwari Temple too for religious beliefs. It feels like the abode of Kali herself and a very peaceful & tranquil place.
