The temple is made of mythological and black stones in Hemandri Panthi style and is situated on 16 pillars. The idol of Parvati is situated in the sanctum sanctorum. The sanctum sanctorum comes after the two assembly halls. The idol of Nandi is installed in the temple. There is a black colored Swayambhu Shivalinga in the eclipse house. The temple shrine was built in 1863.
