Videshwar Mahadev situated in Jhanjharpur (Lohana) of Madhubani is called Baba Dham of Mithila. It is believed that just by visiting here one can see Vaidyanath Dham (Devghar). Videshwar Baba located in Lohana village of Madhubani is said to be the younger brother of Baba Vaidyanath Dham (which is located in Jharkhand). It is believed that by worshiping here one gets the results of worshiping Vaidyanath Dham. Aarti takes place in the temple at 4 in the morning. After that the doors of the temple are opened for the devotees throughout the day.

Apart from this, many religious functions take place at this temple, such as head shaving of the child, sacred thread (upanayana), marriage ceremony, Rudra Abhishek etc. Although there is a huge crowd of devotees every day, thousands of devotees come here on Mondays.
