Why is it prohibited in the scriptures to marry within the same clan?

Why is marriage in the same gotra prohibited in the scriptures?
According to our religious beliefs, marriage should be outside the family and not within the family. Marriage could not take place in one gotra (gotra), that is why the practice of asking the gotra before marriage is still prevalent. In the scriptures, marrying within one’s own family is considered to be iniquitous, blameworthy and a great sin, therefore, leaving 5 generations of the mother or 7 generations of the father, one should marry a daughter of another tribe of his own caste and produce children according to the scriptures. Because on marrying in a consanguineous marriage, due to the very similar ethnicity of blood between husband and wife, the proper development of the child does not take place. That is why there has been no development in animals and birds since time immemorial. Manu Maharaj has also banned consanguineous marriage.
Aspinda or Maturasgotra or Pitu:
Sa Prashasta Dwijatin Darakarmani Maithune.
That is, a girl who is not in the sixth generation of her mother and is not in the tribe of her father is suitable for marriage in two castes.
It has become clear from the studies done by the medical scientists that genetic defects are more in the children born out of the marriage between the close relatives. In such couples the rate of defects like primary infertility, congenital handicaps in offspring and mental inertia is very high. At the same time, cases of stillbirths, miscarriages and deaths of babies in the womb or after birth have also increased. Apart from this, by stopping the marriage among blood relatives, the birth of congenital heart defects and twins can be reduced. For every 100 live births in rural India, there are 18 births and 11 births in urban India.
A new study conducted recently in Hyderabad has revealed that people with blood relations who are married to each other, their unborn child can be a victim of eye-related diseases. He can suffer not only weak eyesight, but also blindness. The study conducted at Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital here has also brought to light the fact that one out of every 200 children born to married couples in a mutual relationship suffers from visual impairment. It is noteworthy that in South India, it is common to get married among close relatives.
Why can’t a daughter inherit her father’s property?
From a scientific point of view
We all know that a female has chromosome xx and a male has chromosome xy.
In their offspring, it is believed that the son was born (xy chromosome), that is, the y chromosome in this son came from the father, it is certain because the mother does not have the y chromosome!
And if there is a daughter, then (xx chromosome) that is, this quality formula comes from both the mother and the father in the daughter.
1. xx chromosomes
xx chromosome i.e. daughter, astu In a pair of X chromosomes, one X chromosome comes from the father and the other X chromosome comes from the mother. And the combination of these two chromosomes forms a lump-like structure called a crossover.
2. the xy chromosome
The xy chromosome, that is, the son, that is, the y chromosome in the son is possible to come from the father only because the mother does not have the y chromosome. And because the two chromosomes are dissimilar, there is no complete crossover, only up to 5%. And 95% of the y chromosome remains intact.
So the important y chromosome happened. Because as far as the y chromosome is concerned, we are sure that it has come into the son only from the father.
Just to find out this y chromosome is the only purpose of the gotra system which was known to our sages thousands / millions of years ago.
Vedic gotra system and y chromosome:
So far we have understood that the Vedic gotra system is based on the y chromosome or a means of tracing the y chromosome.
For example, if a person’s gotra is Kashyapa, then the y chromosome present in that person comes from the sage Kashyapa or the sage Kashyapa is the origin of that y chromosome.
Because the y chromosome is not present in women that is why after marriage women are added to the clan of her husband.
In the Vedic / Hindu culture, the main reason why marriage is forbidden in the same gotra is that being from the same gotra, the man and the woman will be called brother and sister because their first ancestor is the same.

But isn’t it a little strange that men and women who have never seen each other and were born in different countries but in the same tribe have become brothers and sisters?

The main reason for this is also the similarity in chromosomes due to the same gotra. According to today ‘s genetic science if two people with the same chromosomes get married then their children will be born with genetic disorders.
Children of such couples do not have any novelty in the same ideology, choice, behavior, etc. Such children lack creativity. The same thing has been said by science in this regard that most of the children of such couples are born with genetic defects i. e. mental disabilities, disabilities, serious diseases etc. According to the scriptures, it was for these reasons that the ban on consanguineous marriage was imposed.

Conversion of this gotra i.e. inheritance could not be passed on to the daughter by one father, therefore, before marriage, kanyadaan is done and the future groom takes the daughter free of the gotra and gives place to that girl in his clan gotra, that is why even widow marriage was not acceptable at that time, because the husband who gave the clan gotra has attained death.
Therefore, at the time of horoscope matching, special attention is paid to vaidyavya and more care is taken when there is a manglik kanya.
Discuss the self or the self.
self or self + j.
Self = I, ja or ja = born or born, i.e. I am born or born.
If there is a son, then there is a combination of 9 5% father and 5% mother. If there is a daughter, then 50% is the father and 50% is the mother. Then if the daughter has a daughter, then that DNA will remain 50% of 50%, then if she also has a daughter, then 50% of that 25% will remain, in this way, in the birth of a daughter in the seventh generation, this percentage will be reduced to 1%.
That is, the DNA of one husband and wife continues to be born again and again until the seventh generation, and that is with seven births.
However, when a son is born, the son’s chromosome inherits 9 5% of the father’s chromosomes and receives 5% of the mother’s DNA (which may be less than 1% in some cases), and this sequence is continuous, causing the DNA containing the husband and wife’s traits to be born repeatedly, i.e.
Therefore, we continue to bless our own part till the next birth, and we also continue to receive blessings by being intangibly reverent towards them, and this thinking saves us from being selfish till the next birth, and gives us the strength to be dedicated to the betterment of our children.
One more thing, if the parents do kanyadaan, it does not mean that they consider the girl as something equal, but the law of this dana has been made that in order to become a kalyadaan of another family and in order to become a kalyadaani of that family, she should be gotra-free. DNA cannot be free because those DNA will remain in the physical body, so the relationship of maika means mother is maintained, gotra means father’s gotra is discarded. Only then can she promise the prospective bridegroom that she will abide by the dignity of her clan, that is, will not allow her gotra and DNA to be contaminated, will not be hybridized, because after marriage, the bride gives her dowry to the clan and attains motherhood. That is why every married woman becomes equally venerable as her mother.
Like Kanyadaan this Rajadaan has also been considered as the best donation equivalent to the Koti Yajna which is donated by a wife to her husband.
Apart from Indian culture and civilization, this ritual purity is not visible in any other civilization.
