The glorious history and greatness of Naga Sadhus.

Share

The foundation of the present form of Indian Sanatan Dharma was laid by Adi Guru Shankaracharya. Shankar was born in the middle of the 8th century when the condition and direction of the Indian masses was not very good. All the invaders who were attracted by the wealth of India were coming here. Some took that treasure back with them, some were so enamoured by the divine aura of India that they settled here, but overall the general peace and order was disturbed. God, religion, theology, logic, weapons and scriptures were facing all kinds of challenges. In such a situation, Shankaracharya took many steps for the establishment of Sanatan Dharma, one of which was the construction of four Peethas at four corners of the country. These were Govardhan Peeth, Sharda Peeth, Dwarika Peeth and Jyotirmath Peeth. In addition, Adi Guru initiated the establishment of Akharas as armed wings of various sects of Sanatana Dharma to counter those who plundered the property of Maths and temples and persecuted devotees.

It is also said about the Naga sadhus that they stay completely naked and do intense heating in caves, tubers. According to the Oriental Vidya Society, “Among the many special rites of the Naga sadhus is the dissolution of their kamendriyas.” In this way physically all the Naga sadhus get demotivated but their mental state depends on their own asceticism.
Foreign Naga Sadhus
Sanatan Dharma has always attracted foreigners due to Yoga, Meditation and Samadhi, but now the attraction of becoming a Naga Sadhu is increasing rapidly among foreign women, especially in Europe.

Anything that is seen apart from God is false, what is seen even though there is no existence and God is not seen even though it is all pervading, this is the Maya of God, that is what the great men call covering and deflection. The main element of all is the Lord, the world floating in the Lord is not true, but it appears due to Maya, there are two powers of Maya.
(1) Covering Power – The covering power of Maya is hidden from God.
(2) Dispersion – The disembodied energy of Maya makes the world appear even in the presence of God.
The forgetfulness of the self is Maya, the forgetfulness of one’s own self is dream, the dreamer who sees the dream is real, the dreamer sees two persons in the same dream, the dreamer and the dreamer are one and the same, when he wakes up, he believes that I am sleeping in the house.
Maya means “ignorance,” there is no need to know when ignorance started, there is no need to think about when Maya is attached to the living entity.
In Sanskrit, ‘ma’ means’ no ‘and’ ya ‘means’ that ‘. “Maya means” “that which is not,” “i.e. that which can be experienced, but does not really exist, and therefore cannot be properly understood, nor can it be properly described.”
(1) Selfishness.
(2) Selfishness.
(3) Vimukhijana Mohika.
Maya cannot catch the one who has constant Brahma-drishti, Maya is the dancer who makes everyone dance, if the dancer wants to get rid of the attachment of Maya, then the word dancer should be reversed, then there will be kirtan, kirtan will get rid of Maya, every sense gets work in kirtan bhakti, that is why great men have considered kirtan bhakti to be superior.
“My mother is a divine being.
These rivers flow into the sea. .
This God-relative Trigunatmika Vaishnavi calls Maya on how human beings float, because the above Divine Maya, that is, My Tri-Gunamayi Maya, which is the personal energy of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, is very difficult to overcome. Therefore, those who leave all religions and take refuge in the omnipotence of their own soul, in God, my Lord, they are swept away by this illusion that attracts all demons, they are overcome by it, they are freed from the bondage of the world, those who love me are overcome by this illusion or world.
Therefore, we should listen, chant and remember the stories of Lord Srihari with all our strength in every place and at every time.

“tasmaat sarvaatmana raajan hari: sarvatr, sarvada.

shrotavyah keertitavyashch smartavyo bhagavangyaanam.
