Let us tell you that Mahant Saint Shri Baba Neemkaroli Ji was born in a prosperous Brahmin family in village Akbarpur, district Agra, in the beginning of the twentieth century. Who was known as Lakshminarayan Baba. According to the information, when Baba had left for the district for a tour. Since then Baba stayed here. After which, for the convenience of his meditation, a cave was made under the ground. Baba stays in the cave all day long. After this, no one has seen him when he comes out in the dark of night and goes to the field.
At present that cave has been destroyed due to natural reasons. After this, another cave has been constructed near this cave. Baba built a Hanuman temple on the upper ground of this cave. In whose honor he performed a month-long Mahayagya. On this occasion, he also removed his matted hair and wore only one dhoti and used to wear half the dhoti and cover the other half. Due to some reasons, after staying for 18 years, Baba left Neemkaroli village forever and adopted its name himself and made it world famous and immortal.
He nurtured innumerable people, provided them education and got many people married. He used to bless the childless by providing them with the happiness of having children. Whenever there was an opportunity, he used to infuse life even into the dead. Baba was adept in providing relief from diseases and saving from troubles.
