Budhi Mai is a village in Vaishali district, Bihar, India. It is a tourist destination with a rich cultural and historical heritage and is a place of worship. Budhi Mai Temple is situated in Vaishali, Haruki, Ismailpur, near the State Bank of India, Lalganj Road, Vaishali. Budhi Mai Fair/Mela is held in the month of July and August on Budhi Mai Campus, attracting visitors from all over Bihar. This temple is dedicated to Durga Maa.

Historians believe the city evolved as the first republic of the world during the 6th century consisting of a representative body that was elected. A really large pillar stands next to the brick stupa at Kolhua as a remembrance to the Buddha’s sermon and nirvana. Vaishali is a must visit place from religious, cultural & archeological viewpoint. The major attractions of Vaishali are Ashokan Pillar, Buddhi Mai, Buddha stupa, Raj Vishal ka Garh and so on. Vaishali is famous for Vaishali Mahotsava that celebrates the birthday of Lord Mahavira. Also, Sonepur fair is popular too that is held at a distance of 35 km from the city. Paintings, stone sculptures etc are other important attractions.

The art and craft of Vaishali are also famous which mainly includes lac bangles and homemade toys. The “sikki work” is also particularly popular and the litchis of Vaishali are famous too.

Budhi Mai Fair/Mela is held in the month of July and August on Budhi Mai Campus, attracting visitors from all over Bihar.

Temple is opened from 9 AM to 11.30 AM and from 5 PM to 8.30 PM.

The most famous and the most worshiped Mata Temple in the Vaishali District, especially for women. It’s a must visit Temple for newly-wed bride and their families. She is a wish-fulfilling Maa and people here have strong trust and belief.

Budhi Mai Mandir is a Hindu temple dedicated to Maa Durga. It is located in Ismailpur(Harauli)village of Vaishali district, Bihar, India. This temple is named after Buddhi Mai village. This temple is also known as Budhi Mai Durga Sthan. Culturally and historically, this temple is considered very important. The major attraction of this temple is Budhi Mai Mela; Which is held in the month of July and August at Budhi Mai campus, which attracts devotees from all over Bihar.
