Mankameshwar Mahadev- According to belief, all kinds of wishes are fulfilled by worshiping here. There is an ancient pilgrimage site of Lord Kameshwar, who is considered synonymous with Shiva, at Brahmachari Ghat on the banks of the sacred confluence of Khakra- Devah (Dev: Ahuti Ganga) rivers. Where Shiva is, there definitely resides Mankameshwari i.e. Parvati. It is said, where there is Shiva there is Shakti. That is why Bhairav, Yaksha, Kinnar etc. also reside here.

During Sawan, a huge crowd of devotees gather here every day, especially on Monday. The temple has got its present form under the supervision of Mahant Shri Prem Kumar Mishra. But a lot of work still remains to be done here and cooperation is expected from the devotees.
By the name of Mankameshwar Mahadev itself one realizes that the wishes of the heart never remain unfulfilled here. As soon as the devotees enter this temple, they feel peace. People come here and wish for their desired marriage and having a child and when it is fulfilled, they adorn Baba with Belpatra, Ganga water and milk etc., although Baba becomes happy even with a tumbler of water.

Here, there is a tradition of offering silver umbrella, pair of snakes, trident etc. to Baba Mankameshwar. It is the opinion of the devotees that Mankameshwar Mahadev gets pleased quickly by donating silver. However, Baba becomes happy even with a pot of water.

Dhaneshwar mahadev-

There is a temple of Dhaneshwar Mahadev in the courtyard of the temple, which is recognized till Nepal. Dhaneshwar Mahadev gets pleased quickly by donating food. By the grace of Dhaneshwar Mahadev, devotees never face shortage of money and there are chances of getting sudden wealth.

It is said in the scriptures that donation of an elephant is better than donation of a horse. Donation of land is better than donation of elephant, donation of sesame seeds than donation of land, donation of gold than donation of sesame seeds and donation of food grains than donation of gold. There is no donation equal to donating food. Gods, ancestors and humans, all three are satisfied by donating food. In the scriptures it is considered equivalent to Kanyadaan.

The feet of Mata Rani have been established near the Peepal tree located in the temple.
