Historical and spiritual place. The temple was built 250 years ago by Sarup Chand. Unlike people Sarup Chand did not have children. On Swami Ji’s advice he built a Shiv temple after which a new moon was born in his house. After this a girl used to offer water here daily. She also got married after a lot of requests. After marriage the girl expressed her desire to have darshan of Lord Shiva. When the girl came to have darshan of Shivling a light emerged from the Shivling and Lord Shiva gave her darshan in person. From then onwards the popularity of the temple increased even more. Even today there are signs of light on the Shivling. There is a Bhandara in the temple every day and a fair is held here on Mahashivratri.
