Shree Bageshwar Mahadev Temple Patan Gujarat

This temple is from the Mahabharata period. According to mythology, Bhima had killed Raksha named Bakra at this place during his exile. Since then the name of this place became Bakreshwar. Later the name changed to Bageshwar. Shivalinga is installed in the temple. This temple is situated in Patan Nagar.
