The ancient Siddhanath temple is situated in the local Bind Toli locality. It is said that this temple is about 13 hundred years old. Here Baba Siddhanath was born at the hands of Mahatma Shyam Giri. Mahatma Shyam Giri used to worship Shiva by making a lump of sand. In the last moments of his life he prayed that Shiva should appear and would name him Siddhanath. The prayer was heard and the sandy mass was transformed into Shivalinga. After this incident, the Ganga flowing near the temple started flowing into Sinha, about five miles away from here. By the way, the form of Ganga ji is present in the form of a pond in the northern direction of the present temple. It is said that when Ramji, Lakshmanji and Vishwamitra ji were going to Janakpur after Tadika massacre, they had worshiped in this temple. Apart from the living mausoleum of Mahatma Shyam Giri, there are mausoleums of 12 other Mahants in the temple premises. There are five Shivlingas along with Baba Siddhanath in the temple. Actually, local people always worship here. But during Sawan and Shivratri the crowd of devotees swells to thousands.
Devotees come here from different places of the district. The idol of Parvati ji is installed in the north of the temple, Mahavir ji, Ganesh ji, Bhairav ji, Durga ji in the east and Shiva ji in the west.
