Pandeshwar Mahadev Temple of Hastinapur is unique, once worshiped by Pandavas
Meerut. Hastinapur is one of the major and famous places of India. It is related to many incidents described in Mahabharata. There are many mythological religious places here. Hastinapur, 45 kilometers away from Meerut in western Uttar Pradesh, holds various mysteries in itself. Thousands of years of history is still present here in the Pandav Mound, which is excavated from time to time. The Pandeshwar temple near the same Pandav mound still remains a center of faith among the people. It is believed that the wishes of the devotees are fulfilled just by darshan.
According to Kidanwati, Pandeshwar temple is thousands of years old. Once upon a time, Lord Bholenath was worshiped with rituals by the five Pandavas in this temple. The Shivalinga in the temple is called Shambhu in the world. Not only this, the statues of the five Pandavas are also built inside the temple premises. About which it is said that that idol was also found from inside the earth during excavation.
